Cotton
Though cotton can be cut easily on lasers, the edges of real cotton keep fraying. The edges of polyester based cotton seal very well and does not fray, but real cotton does not seal itself and keeps fraying.
Acrylic Wedding Card

People think that papers are really easy to cut with lasers. But what they forget about is the BURN MARKS. Cutting papers is very tricky especially when you want to avoid the brown marks that come on top of paper.
